Principle

The World Wide Web Consortium lays down standards for web pages and I am committed to following them. Although it is relatively easy to get a design tool and produce a web page or two, these rarely follow any standards. The reasons why I think following standards is important are set out in the background section.

Services

I offer a service tailored to your particular needs. I can do as little or as much for you as you require, e.g.

Design using your graphics and layout ideas.
Advice on or handling of hosting and domain registration.
Ongoing updates and maintenance.
Multi-page sites or a simple 'on-line business card'.

I will also supply to you your complete site in XHTML and CSS format (see background). This gives you full control over the future development of your site (you won't need to start again if you decide to use another designer or do it yourself).
